Meaning & Purpose
The Vision
The word "Tehillah" (teh-hee-LAH), is a biblical Hebrew word meaning "Praise". But not just ordinary praise, the word is used to describe a "new" or "spontaneous" song which comes only from a very raw, human state of mind.

This is the key idea as this studio is to be a place with all degrees of human emotion and experience, and ultimately, it is a place of creativity and "new" art!

In 2020, i started falling in love with music and its creation; and now today, I'm excited to offer a full writing/recording/mixing studio intended primarily for faith based music as well as county, folk, old school rock and other vintage era sounds.
The studio is run on Logic Pro X with (currently) 16 channels of audio; great for individual tracking and even small bands. the system is all digital but i have a deep love for old analog sound design and recording techniques. Mixing involves mostly high-end UA emulation style plugins and played back through a precisely tuned monitoring system. Latest editions include 8 channel IEM stations for drummers and other musicians, as well as more microphone options for vocals and acoustic instruments.

As we all know, a project is never truly finished, so expect the gear list to grow significantly over the year. (amps, pedals, drums, mics, etc.) Considering the studio is still in its infancy, prices and rates are extremely flexible and budget oriented as i want to just focus on capturing the art and building connections with people along the way!

As stated before, my primary focus is to help new and aspiring Christian artists hear their ideas come to life. Whether it's country or folk style music; or large church band projects wanting to demo or fully track their new songs, this is a great space to write both music and song and get it sounding great. My long term goal is to have a place for worship/church leaders to come and use their musical gifts in a personal and worshipful way. Many of us fall into the cycle of always playing or "performing" every week, and we often forget why we fell in love with music in the first place; it is a gift from the Creator to create after all!

I've been blessed to be a part of City Hills Worship and offer my service as a keys player, as well as a sound design gear-head for some of their projects.

I also work professionally in live production around the country as a LED/Video Tech, and because of that, there will sometimes be weeks at a time when the studio is "closed". That being said, if you're curious about these services or need a space to record, I'm all ears to new ideas and genres. You can reach me best through email or social media and you can review any terms or expectations in the "MORE" page. Thank you in advance for reaching out helping get this vision in the air!
